CLIF – CHURCH LEADERS IN FELLOWSHIP – 2018 REPORT

'At CLIF (Church Leaders In Fellowship) we have continued to develop trust and build unity as church leaders in an unprecedented way over the last year. It’s been so good to welcome many new church leaders to the group as they have moved to the area and to see so many attending the monthly meetings. Our meeting format has changed over the last few years and we now pray, worship and share with one another. As leaders, we very much appreciate the time we have each month to catch up, learn from one another, encourage each other, support one another and of course eat together!

We continue to work together on our multi-church Weston Area CAP Debt Centre and have been pleased to receive such inspiring reports from our centre manager Paul Larcombe who is doing a fantastic job. It was so good to work together to bless our CAP Clients with special gifts at Christmas and Easter and in fact we had so many Easter eggs donated by churches working together that we were also able to bless Weston Foodbank as well! We are looking forward to gathering together to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary on Sunday 15th July 2018 @3pm Priory School and hope to see the venue packed out as we celebrate all God has done through our local CAP Centre in releasing so many people from debt and helping so many to manage their money better. 

We also worked together as church leaders and churches to present the Watoto Children’s Choir from Uganda at The Winter Gardens in March where we saw an incredible 650+ people come together for the event and it was so good to see the church in Weston together as one. This has encouraged us to consider what more we can do together as leaders and churches and we are currently exploring an evangelistic initiative called ‘The Turning' which we hope to work together on in 2019. CLIF continues to believe the church is #StrongerTogether.
